Your body is the home of your soul on earth - however most of us aren't taught to pay much attention to our bodies - we are instead taught to ignore them or push them to their limits. And yet, your body is in total support of you, constantly working, healing, protecting, and moving - all for you.
When we learn how to not ignore but to pay attention to the subtleties of our body and our senses, what we often find is clarity, inspiration, guidance, compassion and deep healing.

Somatic Thai Yoga is a dynamic, full-bodied approach to healing that incorporates traditional Thai Yoga Massage and Somatic practices for regulating the nervous system and increasing body awareness. It is equal parts self-healing journey and practitioner training that introduces participants to Thai bodywork in a way that supports the innate intelligence that lives within the body. By combining the ancient wisdom of Thai Yoga Massage with the modern therapeutic approach of Somatics, participants can learn to provide a unique and effective form of healing that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of their clients.
Over the course of this 6 day intensive - spread over 2 weeks, you will learn effective, evidence-based techniques for soothing the nervous system, a full Thai Yoga Massage sequence including side-lying postures and movements for loosening stuck holding patterns in the body, holistic business tools, and self-healing techniques necessary for continuing on your journey in the healing arts.

There will be a 30 - 45 minute lunch break each day - while there are many food options nearby in the neighborhood, students may also wish to bring their lunch or snacks.
