Nuad Thao/Traditional Thai Foot Reflexology is a therapeutic practice that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, which are believed to correspond to various organs and systems in the body. In this workshop, you will explore the ancient art of healing through the feet with the application of healing balms, massage techniques, targeted acupressure points, joint mobility and more. Thai Foot Reflexology allows for profound relaxation and reduced anxiety by helping to alleviate discomfort and tension in the body and feet, improving circulation, promoting recovery and offering mobility, stability and flexibility.

This course is designed for both beginners and seasoned practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding and skills in this unique therapeutic practice.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Understand the principles behind reflexology and how specific points on the feet correspond to various organs and systems in the body.

  • Learn a comprehensive range of techniques, including:

    • Gentle stretching and mobilization: Enhances flexibility and relieves tension.

    • Acupressure: Apply pressure to Thai and Ayurvedic reflex points for holistic benefits.

    • Use of herbal balms and oils: Discover how to incorporate natural remedies to enhance relaxation and healing.

  • Study detailed foot maps that outline the Thai and Ayurvedic reflex points and their connections to different body parts, allowing for targeted treatments.

Students will receive a manual for further practice and study as well as a Thai Foot Reflexology tool to take home and begin incorporating into your sessions.

*Note: Thai Foot Reflexology is not recommended for pregnant people. Please come to class dressed in comfortable clothing and bring clean socks.
